Rain can dampen our clothes, but not our spirits! THANK YOU to all the VOLUNTEERS & PARTICIPANTS that braved the weather this morning to support the 2014 C.A.R.E. EAST 5K for Organ, Eye & Tissue Donation Awareness!
The C.A.R.E. EAST 5K is a run and walk course designed to help promote organ, eye and tissue donation and highlight the success of transplantation. All the distances depart from North Bend Elementary School and continue through the streets of North Liberty and by Iowa Donor Network, drawing participants such as transplant candidates, transplant recipients and family members, hospital personnel, donor family members and the general public.
Whether you run, walk, wheel, volunteer, cheer or make a charitable donation, it’s a great way to support this life-changing cause.
C.A.R.E. is an acronym for Compassion for Awareness, Remembrance, and Education.
